It's compact size and innovative design mean it can be set up quickly and is suitable for use in just about any location. It has rig and de rig times as low as 60 mins. for a four camera shoot and actually is all in one box. Clever design and the use of the latest optical fibre technologies give it a large monitoring display and a wealth of facilities.
The box has an eight channel mixer, up to 15 channels of radio talkback (in addition to camera talkback), an engineering station with lighting monitor and camera control units. It operates in SD or HD and can be used with most cameras. By using the latest technologies CrewzBox is able to carry more information than other systems to and from the cameras. All cameras can record full mixed programme sound giving you a true ISO recording on each unit. As you would expect all cameras have talkback, tally lights and reverse vision but also have outlets for autocue, a network connection and other facilities.
You can use 1 camera all the way up to 8. We can rack 1 camera or rack all 8. But the best thing is you can see them all on a huge HD display.

Yep that’s right. Its not a mistake, all 18 signals go down one thin fibre optic cable. It takes the video, audio, talkback, reverse vision and more. But don’t let ‘thin’ fool you its one strong cable with kevlar armour it can handle being bashed.
